Get Rid of Dandruff with These Simple Steps

Hello beautiful people, today we'll be talking about a common hair problem, in fact, I had to battle with it at some point. Dandruff is a common hair problem a lot of people have encountered at one point in time or the other. It ranges in severity, for some it's just little scales that fall onto our shoulders and stains our clothes while brushing or scratching our hair, for others, they have it on other hairy parts of their body aside their scalp (on beards and eye brows). Dandruff isn't easy to treat but I'll be discussing the remedies that can be used in the treatment of this common problem. Dandruff is not only uncomfortable (because it itches badly) but very unattractive (makes the hair appear unclean) as well. I have had to deal with it in the past and I know how worrisome it can be but all that is in the past and I'll like to help you as well. You might have battled it for so long that you've considered cutting your hair, that isn't the solution and I assure you that once you take the right steps, it will be a thing of the past.

Dandruff is a common skin condition that has the appearance of white or gray scales. Your scalp will feel dry and itchy when you have dandruff.

Itchy scalp: This is actually embarrassing, I've experienced that in the past and trust me, I didn't like it ones but.

Uneasiness of the scalp.

You might have sores on your scalp due to excess itching and scratching.

I'll like to briefly tell you about what isn't causing it first before I talk about the possible sources. Note that I used the word 'possible'.

It is expedient that you know that contrary to popular belief, dandruff isn't caused by dirt, however, dirt will make it more obvious/visible. So keep your hair and scalp clean always.

Dandruff is not contagious. You can't get it from sharing other people's hair comb, brush, beddings, hats, caps etc.

Now we'll go right to the causes

No particular cause has been ascertained to be the source but there are several factors that has been claimed to be the causative agents.

1. Health Challenges: Once a person's health is down, a whole lot would be affected including the general well-being of the patient. Dandruff can also be one of the issues that accompany health challenges.

2. Skin Condition: It is a fact that dandruff is a skin condition and some other skin conditions like eczema can trigger it.

3. Excess Yeast Production: It is believed that when the body produces excess yeast, it leads to dandruff.

4. Age Bracket: It has been noted that people usually start encountering dandruff from adolescence to more advanced age.

5. Hair Care Products: Some hair care products might not work well with our hair and scalp and there are times/situations where we might be allergic to a particular ingredient in the product, once any of these is noted, the usage of product should be stopped immediately.

6. Meal: Having meals that are deficient in zinc and vitamin B is another cause. It is important that our meals contain them and to make it easier, having balance diet is important.

7. Weather Condition: Cold weather condition does not cause dandruff but it easily helps it increase. It thrives during this period and we also tend to have dry scalp during this season too.

8. Stress: Both mental and physical stress actually increases the spread of dandruff. So make sure you take out time to rest well and worry less.

Aside the purchase of the right type of products that I will mention here to you, I also have some home remedies that you will need to utilize alongside the products.

1. Anti-dandruff shampoo/conditioner and hair products: There are good anti-dandruff products that will tremendously help you keep it in check. Those products should contain any of the following ingredients: coal tar, salicyclic, ketoconazole, tea tree and zinc pyrithione. You can get them in a pharmacy or a hair care store.

2. Reduce stress, make sure you rest well.

3. Treat all underlying health and skin problems. Health is wealth, some situations reveal that this is more than just a saying.

4. Use shampoo modestly. Note that excess shampooing might cause an increase in dandruff because it will irritate your scalp.

5. Remove flakes before shampooing so that the flakes won't hinder the shampoo from making contact with your scalp. I know this can be really tiring and tasking, but girl you've got to do it for the greater good.

6. Sunlight exposure will help. The sun shouldn't be too high up though, as this might lead to headache or sunburn.

7. Stay healthy: Mind your health, it is a very important gift. Go for regular check ups, exercise and eat healthy meals. Drink sufficient quantity of water as well.

I know a good product that works well too, Trybizz Anti Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner is very good for this. I'll introduce you to it soon.
