THE MAN IN THE MIRROR

The birdie fell in front of a glass door,

Wriggling up, it saw another bird in the mirror,

Aghast, it pecked,

It peeked and pecked again,

It's actions boomeranged,

Raising its wings in exhaustion, it went head on,

Wings flapped against wings,

Strength against strength,

Set to eradicate every competitor,

Claim its territory,

The surge to be the only one willed him stronger,

Lost in awe, I kept watching,

A little boy laughed through the explanation,

The bird doesn't know it's the one in the mirror,

It'll fight itself to death,

Thoughts crammed my mind,

So is man, hurting intentionally,

All actions come back to the man in the mirror.

Yours in scribbling,
